Okay, so I've (been forced to have) given some thought towards my future career lately. I mean, I've always thought about it at least a little bit. Like when I was 10, I wanted to be a cellist. I've wanted to be a veterinarian. I've wanted to be an actress. A doctor/psychologist/psychiatrist/neurologist. A translator. I know shows like Scrubs Hollywood-ize the whole thing, but it still makes me want to be a doctor. Even The Office sort of makes me want to sell paper for a living!! But here are some careers I don't want no matter how many shows they make:
Janitor
Garbageman ("waste management")
Plumber
Person who maintains the sewers
Porn star/Stripper
And then after I got really interested in photography, I was like, "Well it'd be really cool to work as a photographer." But 1) my obsession won't last long, and 2) photographers don't make a lot of money unless they're one of The Best.
I wanted to be a translator, but then I realized I'd have to master like five other languages in the next 4-8 years. Hmm. Or I could be a translator for just one or two languages and translate books, but they don't make very much money either.
I have to go; my brothers are being little crap-heads and they won't sleep.
