Hello, people (person?), I have made a Formspring. I think it's pretty amusing that you can ask yourself a question. Like, really? Are you so friendless that you have nothing better to do than interview yourself? (Then again, I can't really talk since I'm wasting time online writing a blog that only, like, one person reads xD. [Which is fine by me. Although I wouldn't complain if more people read it.])
I think this will be a short post...I don't have much to say.
I am worried about a friend, and I hope she's reading this. Hopefully if she is, she'll know that it's her I'm talking about. She has done a few...irresponsible...things, and I'm just worried for her. Something also happened that she wasn't ready for, and I hope she has the strength to prevent anything like that from happening again. I myself am not strong enough to yell at her for what she did, because I don't want her to get angry at ME, but I wanted to yell at her because of how worried she made me. And I hope she doesn't do it again. :(
Aaaaanyway...here's a funny video from one of my favorite YouTube users, Barats & Bereta.
I'm working on moving to Rhode Island, and we leave on Thursday.
So last Friday I went to the mall with my friend to see Alice in Wonderland. What she didn't tell me, was that she also invited four friends as a sort of last-goodbye. It was very very very awesome, and I was really glad to be able to see everyone one last time! :D One friend gave me a little music box thing that plays English Country Gardens! :D
Now for the movie review...
One friend already published a review on his Facebook but mine is a bit different. First off, the movie was pretty different from the book. In the beginning, if no one had told me I was watching Alice in Wonderland, I wouldn't have known. It started off with Alice at 20 years old and on her way to a party. There she sees the white rabbit, and follows him down a hole. In the book, she's with her sister, who's reading a book. Alice falls asleep, unknown to the reader till the end of the story, and she goes to Wonderland.
I loved what Burton did to the movie though. It was really cool. Johnny Depp was great as the Mad Hatter, and I loved the Cheshire Cat.
Last week, Manuel Hoffmann was eliminated from DSDS, leaving Kim Debkowski, Thomas Karaoglan, Menowin Froehlich, Mehrzad Marashi, and Helmut Orosz.
NOT.
He was still eliminated, but so was Helmut Orosz! Helmut was eliminated because a video surfaced, in which he and a friend were taped doing cocaine. So now they are down to Kim Debkowski, Thomas Karaoglan, Menowin Froehlich, and Mehrzad Marashi!
I went to the mall today, and I went to Subway...there was this couple with their kid, and the dad said "Hey, Babe?" to his wife/girlfriend and automatically I looked...I have no idea why. It was so embarrassing. Thankfully I don't think anyone noticed, but it was still really embarrassing. xD
If you read Perez Hilton, which I only recommend if you like incorrect, poorly-researched articles, you have read that Tom Kaulitz was fined for "punching" a female "fan." They continue to say that it was because the girl put out a cigarette on his windshield at a gas station, implying that was the only reason. NOT THE FULL STORY. He was fined one thousand Euro, which is about fifteen hundred USD. Okay, let's start at the beginning.
First of all, this 21-yr-old, 200-lb French girl (Perrine) and her friends were stalking Tom for months. They egged his house, camped outside his house, physically attacked their mother... Again, this went on for months. Tom repeatedly told them to stop, but they didn't.
At about 11pm one night, Tom pulls into a gas station. Perrine and her friends were there...here's the video. If you don't know German, you might want to skip till about 0:19.
The red flash seems to be the girl putting her cigarette out on his car. When he finally gets out, he hits her, she stumbles, and then he helps her back up.
Now the question is... Is he a bad person?
1. People say, "It is never okay for a man to hit a woman. Ever." 2. People say, "Men and women are equal."
If he had hit a man, would it be that big of a deal? Well, a man probably wouldn't have been stalking him, unless he were gay. But still. Would it? Probably not.
1. People say, "Violence is never the answer. It was wrong of him to do that, and two wrongs don't make a right." 2. People say, "She deserved it."
No, he probably shouldn't have hit her, but it's not like he broke any bones or caused her to get stitches or anything. She's not scarred, mangled, or whatever. She physically attacked their mother, and apparently even threatened her! So in a sense, was he defending his family? He TOLD her to stop. She didn't. She went way too far. She pushed him too far. If he wasn't a celebrity, would this be such a big deal? No. Just because he's famous doesn't mean he doesn't make mistakes. He's still human.
And honestly, I think she DID deserve. Apparently she claimed that she was donating the one thousand Euro. *rolls eyes* As if she's not going to get money from a bunch of German TV stations, asking to interview her and whatnot.
Okay, here's a metaphor.
Let's say I have a dog. My dog bites me, and I tell him to stop. He bites me repeatedly, and finally, I smack him. Does that make me a bad person? I perhaps shouldnt've have resorted to violence. But the dog pushed me too far. I got angry because I'm human. I let my anger control me. Would you think poorly of me? If you love dogs, then you probably would. You'd probably tell me that there are better ways for me to make him stop biting me. If you're not that crazy about dogs, you'd probably be like, "Well it's not like you killed him. He bit you. You didn't hurt him that bad at all when you smacked him. He hurt you more than you hurt him."
So, Perrine (the bitch) stalks (bites) Tom (me.) Tom (I) tell her (him) to stop, repeatedly. Perrine (the bitch) keeps stalking (biting) Tom (me.) She (he) pushes Tom (me) too far, and Tom (I) hit her (him.) "Well, it's not like you killed him (her.)...He (she) hurt you more than you hurt him (her.)"
Confused yet?
True, (most) women are above dogs. But women can make their own rational, logical decisions. Maybe, "Tom wants me to stop. I guess I am going a bit too far when I threaten his mother...maybe I should cut back a little and not egg their house anymore." Whereas dogs go only on their instinct and learned behavior.
I'm not saying Tom should have hit her. True, two wrongs don't make a right. But honestly, she went way too far, she's doing this for attention, (even saying that he wasn't being strongly punished enough, and he was gaining more fame which isn't fair) and she should be fined for stalking/harrassing/threatening/whatever. Since Tom is rich, I'm relatively sure that the one thousand Euro won't be too horrific of a fine, and it could be much worse.
So, I'm thankful he's not going to jail or anything. But I think she needs to be punished too.
New couples make FaceBook so annoying. Okay, so these "lovers" are in 8th grade and in the "honeymoon phase" of the relationship. You know how it goes.
"You hang up first." "No, you hang up first!" "No, you hang up first!" "No, you hang up first!"
"Ohhh my god you are so CUTE!" "You're cuter!" "No, you're cuter!" "My baby is the cutest." "Awwwww!!!"
FaceBook has made this more annoying, awkward, and just embarrassing to look at.
Notice he wrote "Ughh I miss Delaney!" at both 6:36 and 6:54. Just in case it wasn't clear at 5:14, 5:39, 5:58, and 6:24 the day before.
I mean, seriously?! It's so awkward and weird to read this crap! Which is why I am thankful for people who are like the first commenter:
Speaking of FaceBook irritations, what's the deal with the new FaceBook?
It's weird. They should have improved things like how impersonal your profile is. It'd be nice to be able to have a background image and things like that.
On a morbid note, a seven-year old girl died in 2007 because of botox injections. Her name was Kristin Spears. She had been given the injections because she has cerebral palsy, and some doctors use it for muscle relaxation in cerebral palsy patients. She died of pneumonia and respiratory failure, allegedly a reaction to Botox, and now the mother is suing.
To cheer you up, here's my picture for today (Project 365.)
On a really upsetting note, found out a really good friend of mine was suspended from school for underage drinking on campus.... I haven't talked to him in forever, I really miss him, and now I'm depressed...
And remembered exactly why I am SO not a dog person. Being lazy in virtually every way, I prefer my cats over a puppy no matter how cute. No, I do not feel like taking the dog outside every hour. No, I do not feel like having to wrestle the leash out of its mouth every three seconds. No, I do not feel like training it to obey my commands. Cats are so friggin' simple! You show them where the litterbox is, clean the box about every other day, feed them twice a day, and replace their automatic water thingy like once a week. Keep 'em indoors and you don't have to worry about fleas or ticks! It's B-E-A-U-tiful!!
But no, I really appreciated the job. Honestly, as ungrateful and bratty as I sound, I really did have fun. Truly. Cowboy is cu-u-u-te!! But I just couldn't do it every day. Actually, once we move, I'd like to have a mini pet-sitting job in the summer. I don't think doing it during the school year would work, because the dog would be alone for pretty much the entire day, but it would work for cats. Just feed them twice and clean their box! :D *sings praise from above*
Okay, about the secret admirer...more like "secret admirer." So I'm on FaceBook, enjoying my little flirty conversation with this guy on Honesty Box. (If you're not familiar with FaceBook or Honesty Box, you ask a question and anyone can answer it but the person who answers stays anonymous, unless they of course choose to reveal themselves.) So my question was something like, "What do I do that annoys you?" And my response was "Bullshit. There's nothing annoying about you," and I'm like, awwwwwwww! That's so effing sweet! But I didn't really say that...anyway, there was a long conversation that doesn't matter in this story. So then we were chatting about he was. And he said, "Just think of me as your secret admirer ;)" and I tried to get him to tell me who he was, of course. But then he says, "Meet me in front of (classroom) before school, and you'll know who I am."
I know. You're thinking, "Wow, that's pretty cool that he'd do it in person!" PROBLEM.
First of all...I've been home-schooled for the past year. YEAR. So I'm like, seriously, do you even know who I am?! Either you think I just haven't had any of your classes (and apparently I never go out in the hallways or go to lunch or anything) or there's another AKHafer you're confusing me with. Or you are lying. Or you only liked me from "afar" and...didn't freaking realize that I practically don't exist?! Like, Jesus! What kind of secret admirer doesn't notice their admiree's absence?! (Yes I think I made up the word "admiree...")
Ugh. Whatever, I don't like anyone. Super-exciting love life is part of the deal with home-schooling experience anyways.
Ugh. Yesterday I had the stomach flu. Since 0300 I puked about every half-hour. SO not fun. Found out the hard way that you shouldn't drink water when you're sick. Couldn't keep down Pedialyte or apple juice; ended up drinking Sierra Mist for the entire day. Had two cans; kept one down. About 103 degree fever. So today I'm feeling much better. *victory dance* But I feel disgusting, so I'm gonna take a shower. See ya!
